KLA – Shinjuku Campus

Kyoshin Language Academy (KLA) is one of the long-established language schools offering Japanese language education in Japan. KLA offers a comprehensive approach to education that supports students not only in developing their Japanese language skills but also in reaching their academic and career goals in Japan.

The Shinjuku Campus stands out among KLA's campuses for academic preparation, particularly for students aiming to continue on to university or graduate school in Japan. In addition to preparation classes for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU), the campus offers individual counseling for university and graduate school applications, support with preparing application documents, and interview practice. Most students at the campus aim to continue on to university and graduate programs in Japan.

To help students progress in line with their academic goals, the school makes use of homeroom advising and individual guidance systems. In particular, students applying to graduate school receive individual guidance as well as support with preparing the documents required for examinations and enrollment procedures.

The Shinjuku Campus is located in the Takadanobaba and Nishi-Waseda area, one of Tokyo's major student hubs. Home to numerous universities and vocational schools, starting with Waseda University, the area makes it easy for students to gather information about entrance examinations and to visit their target schools in person. The campus is about a 3-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Nishi-Waseda Station and about a 10-minute walk from JR Takadanobaba Station.

Alongside academic studies, various school events are organized so that students can experience life and culture in Japan. With its experienced teaching staff and academic support system, the Shinjuku Campus offers a learning environment where students, particularly those planning to pursue higher education in Japan, can work on their language skills and exam preparation together.
