ISI – Shinjuku Prime Campus

ISI Shinjuku Prime Campus is one of the newest Tokyo campuses of ISI Japanese Language School, opened in Nishi-Shinjuku in April 2026. Located on the 10th and 11th floors of the Nishi-Shinjuku Prime Square building, the school has a capacity of approximately 1,600 students. Its location, just a few minutes’ walk from Seibu-Shinjuku, Okubo, Shinjuku-Nishiguchi and Shinjuku stations, is a major advantage for students who want to study in central Tokyo and easily reach different parts of the city.

Prime Campus is suitable for students who want to study at a modern city campus, as well as for those aiming to enter a university, graduate school or vocational school in Japan. The Academic Japanese program offers Japanese instruction from beginner to advanced level, and students can also take elective classes according to their goals. Options include university and graduate school preparation, JLPT study, conversation classes and courses geared toward career goals.

Opened in 2026, the new campus has been designed with bright classrooms equipped with electronic whiteboards, a student lounge, a library area and modern shared spaces. The campus design places particular emphasis on common areas where students can communicate naturally with classmates from different cultures. Students who want advanced academic preparation can also take advantage of the additional preparation opportunities at Shinjuku Main Campus, which is within walking distance.

Shinjuku Prime is a suitable option especially for students who want to live in central Tokyo, be closer to Shinjuku Station and learn Japanese in a new, modern campus environment. Although it has a smaller capacity than Shinjuku Main, it still offers a large-scale, multinational student environment.
