International Study Institute (ISI) Nagano Campus is located in Ueda, a city in Nagano Prefecture known for its natural beauty. Established in 1992, this campus is ISI’s first educational center and provides international students with a calm and focused environment for learning Japanese. Ueda is about 90 minutes from Tokyo and is also noted for its rich history and culture.

The campus shares its facilities with a vocational college operated by the ISI Group, allowing international students to interact with Japanese students and apply their language skills in real-life situations. At the time of initial dormitory registration, fees are charged for items such as deposit, insurance, and basic necessities including bedding (futon, quilt, etc.). Therefore, the cost of the first 3-month period is higher than the subsequent 3-month periods.
