Human Academy – Fukuoka Campus

Human Academy Japanese Language School - Fukuoka Campus is one of the Human Academy campuses, located in Tenjin, the central district of Fukuoka, offering Japanese language education to international students planning to continue their education in Japan. The campus aims not only to help students improve their Japanese but also to enable them to actively use the language in daily life in Japan and in their further studies. In class, emphasis is placed on students expressing their own ideas, communicating with classmates and using the Japanese they have learned in practice.

Fukuoka Campus offers higher education preparation programs: a 2-year program starting in April and a 1-year-6-month program starting in October. While developing their Japanese skills, students can also plan their next educational steps, such as university, graduate school or vocational school. The school places importance on students setting their goals from an early stage of their studies and progressing in line with their own future plans.

Students can receive individual counseling on their education and future plans. In addition to evaluating university, graduate school and vocational school options, students can also consult school staff about residence procedures, daily life in Japan and other issues they may encounter. The campus has dedicated counseling spaces for these meetings.

Fukuoka Campus is located on the 6th floor of the Tenjin Shoppers Fukuoka building, occupying a large single-floor space of approximately 3,000 square meters. The campus has classrooms equipped with large screens and digital teaching equipment, as well as common areas where students can relax between classes and individual counseling rooms. Being about a 5-minute walk from Tenjin Subway Station, it allows students to travel easily to different parts of Fukuoka.

Tenjin is one of Fukuoka's liveliest districts for shopping, dining, transportation and social life. Around the campus there are shopping centers, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and many other businesses that may be needed for daily life. The Hakata area can be reached quickly by subway, and Fukuoka Airport is very close to the city center, making travel both within and outside the city easy.

While Fukuoka is one of the largest cities in the Kyushu region, it has a more compact city structure compared to Tokyo and Osaka. The combination of city life with access to the coast and green spaces offers a lifestyle in which students can easily meet their daily needs and also experience different social and cultural environments outside school. Tenjin, Hakata, Ohori Park and Fukuoka's coastal areas are among the main places students can easily visit in their free time.
