Japan-Focused Information Seminar at Bursa Arena Schools

Bursa

On April 17, a comprehensive Japan-focused information seminar was held at Bursa Arena Schools for high school students. With strong interest and active participation from students, the seminar covered Japan’s education system, the Japanese language, and educational opportunities in Japan in a well-rounded manner.

In the opening session, Japan’s unique cultural structure and educational philosophy were discussed, and the global significance of the Japanese language was shared with participants. It was emphasized that learning Japanese goes far beyond acquiring a standard language skill—it is a powerful, long-term investment in both academic and professional careers. It was also highlighted that the Japanese language education conducted at the school in collaboration with Edusama provides students with a significant advantage in making the most of these opportunities.

The seminar continued with a dedicated segment on J-MENA, an international academic collaboration project supported by the Japanese government. Students learned that, within the scope of this project, they can apply to Japanese universities through English or Japanese programs, benefiting from special quotas and scholarship opportunities. The importance of starting an early and well-planned preparation process from high school was strongly emphasized.

In the later parts of the presentation, application processes for universities and language schools in Japan were explained, while student life in the country was illustrated with concrete examples. Topics such as accommodation options, part-time work opportunities, daily life practices, and social environments were discussed, helping students perceive the educational experience in Japan not only as an academic journey but also as a cultural and social transformation.

During the Q&A session, curious students asked many questions about the Japanese learning process, university admission requirements, and available scholarship opportunities. This interactive and dynamic session clearly demonstrated the participants’ deep interest in the subject and their genuine motivation.

For students already studying Japanese at Bursa Arena Schools, the seminar provided a concrete understanding of the opportunities their language skills can unlock. For those considering starting Japanese classes, it served as a strong source of motivation.

Our Japan-focused education and consultancy activities will continue in the upcoming period with new seminars and events to be held in different cities.
